Yellow Sculptures - Chris Singleton
This is my first time working with clay since 4th grade. For my winter show I am doing sculptures. Sculptures of things you would find in your house. With the exception of a head that I made to make as a challenge. They are also all yellow. I made the head by making a ball of newspaper, then I made a slab and wrapped it around the ball. I then added features to the face and then set it to be fired. All of the newspaper in the middle got burnt to dust in the kiln so it is hollow. My inspiration for the set was that I wanted to do something different the rest of the class, so I started sculpting.
